Nerang
Alby Di Giannantonio is your Jim’s Handyman professional for Nerang and surrounding areas and is happy to help with all your ‘To Do’ projects.
Having been born into a family of Electricians, Builders, Earth Moving and Renovations, you could say that construction runs in Alby’s veins and he has continued this life blood into his 20+ years of experience owning and running his own Electrical Contracting and Earth Moving companies.
Being a licensed Electrician and Air conditioning Specialist, Bob Cat and Excavator Operator and holding a Certificate 4 in Construction, along with many years of Handyman and Building Maintenance experience, Alby has the ability to undertake most of your Home, Investment Property, Body Corp, Business and Commercial maintenance and small renovation projects.
Currumbin
Gary Hippman is your friendly Currumbin and Gold Coast Handyman. Gary joined Jim’s bringing with him a wealth of experience in all facets of building, renovation and Handyman jobs. The reputation of Jim’s is what drew Gary to join the Jim’s Handyman team, being able to combine his talents with Australia’s biggest Home Services franchise company.
In 2008 Gary relocated to the Gold Coast from Tasmania and is happy to now call it home.During his career, Gary completed his apprenticeship way back when, (helped Noah build the ark), ventured out with his own businesses, renovated a few houses, including his current home with his wife Emma. Had a mid-life adventure into a greenhouse business growing tomatoes, worked for charities, played rugby union…well, played cricket…badly, stared at the tip of a fishing rod for longer than he cares to admit and tried way too hard to surf. But he did it all with the absolute enthusiasm and dedication you will always find in this ‘let’s make it happen’ guy.
Traralgon
Brett’s 16 years’ experience in the building game has seen him work on major construction sites, such as hospitals, universities and shopping centers, while refining skills on smaller projects in the more niche market of domestic home improvements.
Five years ago, Brett took the opportunity to start the Latrobe Valley area of the Jim’s building maintenance division and has grown the franchise to include over 300 clients, many who use Brett’s service on a regular basis. Brett prides himself on maintaining customer service as his number one priority during his busy working schedule.
When his not working Brett enjoys a round of golf, fishing and traveling with his family in their caravan. He has two children, a 6-year-old boy and a 3-year-old girl.
Campbelltown
Adam is your highly experienced Jim’s Handyman for Campbelltown and the surrounding suburbs.
Adam completed his apprenticeship in shopfitting and joinery. After completion of his trade he worked for a joinery shop specialising in kitchens and custom made joinery. He then moved on to the shopfitting sector, working as a sub-contractor on both large and small building projects in the retail and commercial sector. At a young age, Adam has already accumulated immense and valuable experience, which he now brings to his role as a Jim’s Handyman franchisee.
He currently holds a contractor licence with the NSW Department of Fair Trading and takes great pride in ensuring the needs of his clients are met to the highest standard.
Since joining the Jim’s Group Adam is enjoying the challenge of owning and running his own business and being able to provide high quality service and workmanship to his clients.
Camden
Matt is your highly experienced Jim’s Handyman for Camden and the surrounding suburbs.
Whilst completing his apprenticeship in shopfitting and joinery Matt gained valuable experience in the trade – working for companies involved in a diverse range of areas including kitchen manufacturing and installation, detailed joinery and shopfitting. Most recently prior to joining Jim’s Matt worked as a sub-contractor to large companies, involved in major building projects in the commercial sector throughout the Sydney CBD.
He currently holds a contractor licence with the NSW Department of Fair Trading and takes great pride in ensuring the needs of his clients are met to the highest standard. Since becoming a Jim’s Handyman franchisee Matt is enjoying the diversity involved in the job, with no two jobs ever being the same, it gives him the opportunity to not only work closer to home but to also utilise his experience and skills in many different areas of his trade. Matt takes pride in every job he does and is passionate about providing top notch customer service.
Picton
As a qualified shopfitter/joiner by trade and having run his own successful joinery business for over two decades prior to joining the Jim’s Group, it is safe to say Brian loves what he does and has a passion for building, renovations and home improvements.
Brian’s wealth of knowledge and experience is varied and extensive, giving him the ability to carry out all kinds of renovation projects. From installation of a new letterbox right through to the design, manufacture and installation of a custom made kitchen, no job is too big, too small or too hard.
He currently holds a contractor licence with the NSW department of Fair Trading and takes great pride in ensuring the needs of his clients are met to the highest standard.Brian enjoys the variety of the work he performs and loves a challenge.
Ringwood
I lived in Ringwood North for 16 years and know the area quite well, including the types and styles of properties. Experienced in renovating houses, decks, kitchens bathrooms and general property maintenance. I will take the hassle out of your life by ensuring a complete end-to-end job, or work with you and other trades to obtain your desired outcome.

A marriage and two beautiful little girls later, I decided the time was right to make my move into owning my own business doing something I loved.

Yarraville
Hi, I’m Murray, Jim’s Handyman for Yarraville!
Before joining the Jim’s Team i finished my last 2 years of high school at a Technical College in Wangaratta and started a motor mechanic apprenticeship in my home town of Cobram. I left after a couple of years and landed a job at a shipping company in Melbourne.
By the time I was 22 I had been promoted to Victorian maintenance and repair manager. I resigned after a couple of years to pursue my desire to travel the world. I spent nearly 3 years travelling North America, mainly the USA. I also travelled to the UK with a quick side trip to Switzerland.
During this period away from home I was always given the opportunity to learn new jobs like plastering, roofing, framing and general handyman work.
I returned to Melbourne and landed a role in a container repair company as a container inspector.
South Morang
Hi, my names Gerry, Jim’s Handyman South Morang!
I have been with Jim’s Handyman since 2005 and have over 200 existing residential and commercial customers.
Over the years I have renovated many homes in the Eltham, Greensborough, South Morang and Eaglemont areas just to mention a few.
I generally do many handyman jobs and try to service my customers within a 24-48hr window and strive to provide a one stop shop for all of my customers.
Oakleigh South
John is your local Jim’s Handyman franchisee for Oakleigh South, offering services such as general handyman, carpentry, deck repairs & maintenance, pergola repairs & maintenance, plastering, tiling, light steel fabrication & welding.
Before he became a franchisee, john worked as an area manager in the engineering and construction industry, sales and marketing in I.T and had a previous full time career in the defence force.
John became a franchisee in 2003 and enjoys this type of work for many reasons; variety and challenge of work, change of scenery, meeting new people, the lifestyle and having a better work/life balance. He is committed to providing a high level of quality, workmanship and service for his clients.
John’s hobbies include 4×4 touring, camping, fishing and getting outdoors in general, which he has shared over the years with his children, and now his grandchildren.

Hi, I am Ben Mudford from Jim’s Handyman Mitcham. I have been on the Jim’s Handyman team for just over 3 years.
I offer a range of services from major and minor welding and steel fabrication, Major and minor plaster repairs, Bathroom and wet area waterproofing, Decking repairs and new construction.
Handyman services which include, door and hardware fixing repairs, build and repair existing decks, major bathroom renovations and bathroom repairs, painting and staining in outdoor and indoor environments and general maintenance for commercial properties and kindergartens.

Hi I’m Gavin, Jim’s Handyman Mount Eliza! Before joining Jim’s I was an account manager in the printing industry over 30 years.
I am known as ‘a man of all trades’ by family and friends, putting my hand to various tools of the trade between my printing profession and spending time with my family of two beautiful and successful daughters and wife Leanne.
With the support of my family, I decided to put my tools to the test and joined jim’s building maintenance earlier this year and then re-branded to Jim’s Handyman.
So far I have received excellent feedback from my customers and I am thoroughly enjoying my new career path.
The level of job quality and support from Jim’s has been paramount in my success. I’m thoroughly enjoying my new career. The services I offer is broad, from general house maintenance to decks and pergolas. There are no difficult jobs, just new and exciting challenges!

Meet Steve, your local Jim’s Handyman franchisee for Ferntree Gully and surrounds. Prior to becoming a Jim’s Franchisee, Steve had worked within the building industry for almost 40 years.
Firstly as an apprentice carpenter and later in the trade building supplies sector.
Steve has always kept close contact with the domestic building industry and ran his own part time building business prior to becoming a Jim’s Franchisee.
Since becoming a franchisee, steve has also become a registered building practitioner and moved into the home renovation and extension sectors completing projects valued in excess of $250,000.

As a business owner for 14 years in the trade, he loves renovations and helping clients make their homes more beautiful.

Hi, I’m Daine, Jim’s Handyman Doreen!
After a decade of working in different trades and professions. Including fast food, retail and technical sales, plastering, carpentry, aluminium and steel fabrications, demolition and shop fitting, data and security installations, I had recognised that I had a unique ability to pick up any skill necessary to complete my duties at the time.
After doing some research into the building maintenance and handyman franchises, I had a few meetings with different franchise companies to find out what the best choice would be for me.
Based on what I learned and researched, I decided Jim’s Handyman was right for me. All I had to do then was save the money to purchase the franchise.

Before Jim’s I was a team leader at Jayco Caravans building vans for over 7 years and before that I was a carpenter.
